I chose unwisely to pass this year. Besides missing Myron's wife's great c
ooking, Oregon is getting pummeled with torrential rain. Must be an effort
to celebrate those loud Oregon Duck fans.
Love to hear some of your lies.

Rob Hickman, took off before the lunch because he was worried about
getting back into Oregon due to weather. Maybe he's hung up somewhere
enroute. Oh yeah I forgot to mention the deserts, I doubt that Myron
cooked those. But they were just as good as the Carne Asasda.
Lie: John Cox, is the fastest builder in the world ;-)

Subject: | Re: aileron trim |
DLM,
When I finished my RV8 9 years ago (3000 hours since new) I decided that I
did not want to destroy the beautiful light control and balance with a
tension device against the controls. I designed trim tabs for both the
aelerons and elevator using miniature Menzemer trim motors. This resulted
in very controllable trim without changing the delightful control response
of the RV8. I used a 2 way rocker type switch with momentary contacts and
a electronic indicator for the cockpit. Also, I now can use all of the fuel
from one tank on long trips so that I know for sure where the balance of on
board fuel is. It also alows me to know exactly what my fuel burn is on
long trips.
Good Luck.

I heard Mssr Cox was going to build multiple RV-10s...before finishing
his first one, in between building some RV-12s.

Do I get any credits for the 12 - RV-12 builders being Mentored at Vans
on the Teen Flight Program?
Here I am trying to catch up to Jesse's building proclivity and he is in
hot pursuit of an A&P. What is a guy to do? He already has me beat on
kids.
