Subject: | Just A Few Days Left; Well Behind Last Year... |
Dear Listers,
There are just a few more days left of this year's List Fund Raiser. Response
has been good so far, but we're well behind last year at this point. If you've
been waiting until the last minute to make your Contribution, now might be good
time to show your support and maybe pick up a nice gift as well!
Please remember that there is no commercial advertising on these Lists and the
*only* means of keeping them running is through your Contributions during this
Fund Raiser. If it weren't for your individual Contributions, these Lists could
easily become economically infeasible and simply cease to exist.
You probably can't even take the family out to dinner for $20 these days, but your
individual Contribution of the same amount makes a huge difference in keeping
the List services alive.

Thanks for all the replies on and off list. It seems that it is hard to
find brass fasteners that are Black Ox coated AND are something other
than phillips or slotted head.
McMaster-Carr (which most of the replies suggested) has a great
selection of brass fasteners, but none of them that I could see were
Black Ox coated. They have steel in Black Ox, but not brass.
I guess there's always self-painting the heads.

Really cool 360 degree image of a P51 cockpit.
http://www.stclairphoto-imaging.com/360/P51-Mustang/P51_swf.html
Requires Flash and note that the colors take a loooooong time to load.
I need that switch panel on the bottom left for Guns and Bombs on the
-10. I know the regs prevent flying for hire, but do they mention
anything about strafing runs? I guess maybe just not over congested
areas? :)

That's what I did on mine. Most are painted.

Subject: | Re: Oil Analysis kit info |
I just had my kits ship today and I found out that
the price below is slightly wrong. The kits
are $70/10, but with prepaid postage, they're
now $92.50. The postage is $2.25 each.

Subject: | Re: Brass Torx or Socket Head Screws For Panel |
I saw a Cirrus SR-20 today that had black allen head screws for holding
the instruments. It was a fairly early 2000's model with mostly 6-pack
of steam gauges. Obviously Cirrus had to source them somewhere.

Subject: | fuel flow transducer location |
Plans show transducer to be in the tunnel, I've heard there are less fluctuations
if it is placed after the mechanical pump and before distribution for fuel
injection, is this correct?
