It's obviously the springs. Anybody else experience this? Also, the springiness of the stick seems awfully weak. John -------- #40572 Painted and the wings are on. I find that I can "feel" them if I think about it and want to know that they are connected but otherwise I don't really notice them any more. It was suggested to me to put some Teflon tape on the push-pull rod if I wanted the springs to be quiet but as for the "rusty gate" sound...hard to hear that over the engine and with ear phones on! I opted to just grease the springs and rod with Teflon grease. I still hear some sound but "feel" that any abrasion has been minimized. ----- Original Message ----- From: johngoodman To: rv10-list@matronics.com Sent: Thursday, December 16, 2010 5:29 AM Subject: RV10-List: Noisy Aileron Trim > I finally have all the flight controls adjusted with the correct degrees of movement, but when I tried out the Aileron Trim, it sounded like a rusty old gate in sore need of oil.
