Only if was installed after receiving his airworthiness certificate. Since it
was built in 2008, like with my project, it could have been installed during the
build so there wouldn't be a logbook entry in that case.

Probably a good suggestion to all of us that are not yet
completed....put mention of SBs complied with in the initial logbook
entry, as a point of reference for any subsequent owner, or heaven
forbid, any accident investigation. Much as I dislike it, whether for
certified or homebuilt, logbooks are there to protect our backsides, and
to make our lives easier when we need to verify something that our
brains have blotted out.

Subject: | FS: Bose Aviation X headsets (2) $550 ea |
I have 2 Bose Aviation X headsets for sale.
This time around (the final time), I have a choice of cords
that you can get with them. Both headsets work fine and are in
good condition overall...cosmetically the Bose label on the
earcups is prone to scratching so that wording probably
isn't perfect. I can take pictures if you need.
$550 each headset.
For cord choices, you can choose from these 3:
1) Dual Plug, coiled cord (uses batteries & standard jacks)
2) Dual-plug, straight cord (uses batteries...standard jacks)
3) Lemo (panel powered) plug, straight cord...you buy the
Lemo jacks separately from any dealer.
4) Lemo (panel powered) plug, straight cord...same as above
that you buy the jacks separately, but this cord
had a nick out of the insulation so I used self
vulcanizing tape over that spot...similar to
heatshrink. (the cable works fine)
First come first serve on the headsets, so you can choose
which one of the 4 cords you want. I'm hoping to keep
one of the dual-plug cords and the nicked Lemo cord, but
whatever you want is fine.
If you want both headsets, I'll pay shipping. If you only
get one, then add on $10 for shipping.
Shoot me an OFF-line email if you're interested.
