To all those lucky enough to be able to attend Oshkosh,=0A-=0AHas anyone
taken the opportunity to visit the Aveo tent to see their Conforma Zip Tips
?=0A-=0AWhat did you think of them?- Are they supplied ready to fit (as
I suspect) or do Aveo supply a kit to fit into the kit supplied wing tips?
=0ADid Aveo mention a price and proposed availability?=0A-=0AI find the c
oncept fascinating even though I have the parts to install PAR36 lights int
o the wings.=0A-=0AWith many thanks,=0A-=0ARodger=0AStill wondering wha

Is there anyone that does smooth $1M for experimentals? I was told no. My
broker found one that would do $200k sublimits, but with a lower maximum
hull coverage than I needed.

I'm paying $3070 this year for $200k hull. I have private+instrument w/ 400
TT and 180 in type.
Interesting story. This year my rates were going to go up, so I contacted
another agent for quotes--I knew they'd get the same quotes from the same
underwriters, but figured I had nothing to lose and maybe they shopped a
few other underwriters. It turns out I got a quote almost $600 cheaper
from the *same* underwriter. I went back and made sure I gave the same
info on the application form to both agents, which I did. It turns out
whoever did my second quote at the underwriter's office didn't see my first
quote in the system, so mistakenly did a new quote and came out way
cheaper. I guess that underscores how manual and imprecise this process
is. Of course, my old agent was very unhappy with the underwriter.

*To clarify my post... I am located in NJ, and prefer a Northeast project,
with a strong preference for a complete set of kits.
Many Thanks,

Looking for an RV-10 QB kit. Prefer NE location, but any considered. High
quality non QB also considered. Any state of completion, so long as work
quality is high.

Frank;
Glad to see you are getting back up and doing the RV-10 again. If I was
still in Hillsborough I would help you out. Maybe next summer well come
out to Somerset and see your progress.
