Jeff, you need to do the best you can in sealing the area. I have
attached pictures of mine but it does not show how I did it that well.
Use combination of rubber seal and RTV.
The hole you see above the cowl ramp is in the high pressure area and
does not effect the seal.
Hopefully some has a better pictures/method for you.

One thing to keep in mind is that unless you seal an end of those ramps, the
air can leak under them to the outer end which is in the low pressure area.
So the hole above the governor may matter if you don't contain the air.
