Sometimes it just doesn't work.
This site was unreachable for part of Sunday and Monday due to
technical issues at my ISP. They called it an 'extended outage'.
'Level 2 switch issues' or something like that. VAF servers were fine
the whole time, but the web couldn't see them (along with about a
thousand other servers they host). You know all that talk about uptime
guarantees, equipment redundancy and technology keeping us safer? Yeah,
me too. It's not lost on me that some of this translates well to our
flying hobby - single-engine IFR and night flying, and the technology
that makes it (mostly) work.
Sorry again for the downtime. Stupid computers...
