    I used a scrap piece of the window cutout FG to create a small piece to fit over the gap. I glued it in place with resin and micro.     A friend of mine TIG welded some 3/4x.063 and I cut to length and added a nu tplate and JB Welded each to the angle. I then made cover plates and finally slotted them for the hinge. Plenty of room to access all parts. Terry

    Make sure you read the posting I did on vansairforce on the subject of the AFP fuel injection system, vertical install.
