The bes t way to check that is on the bench. That's the reference for all the other s. If indicated is off, it's time to use the manometer and figure out which one is accurate. This article will do. Kit plane mag had an articles in Feb with a spreadsheet that used gps data t o come up with errors. It is called a multipoint gps assisted AS calibration . Do not have subscription to access the file. Seemed like a good lazy alternative to do it with. Do not archive. Truth be told, you can do just as well by finding the wind direction (max ground speed), then do a 180 (minimum ground speed), and average the 2 numbers to get TAS. Note the pressure altitude and the OAT, pull out your E6B and change TAS into IAS.
