Thanks guys. I had sent the unit in a while ago for updates but I am not sure how long ago and if it is the last of the needed update. I will follow up with Bill Moffit. Do not archive. Almost all the problems are either lacking the latest software update or a setup configuration problem. Garmin had a problem with the communications protocol between transponder and GPS. When they fixed it, they changed the name of the protocol, so a software update is needed to use the datastream from the Garmin. Somewhere between 20-40% of ADSB installs by avionics shops also get offending reports, so don't feel bad. >> >>> On 11/30/2015 1:22 PM, Flysrv10 wrote: >>> >>> Thanks. Bill... that is good news. thanks for checking. Vans has you install the opposite way with rod end up when the door is open. I will be ordering soon. The issues are explained very well on this FAQ page. http://www.guden.com/Control/About-Gas-Springs Jae On 11/30/2015 6:13 PM, Bill Watson wrote: > > The Bansback engineer appears to be correct. > > As soon as I saw this today, I ran down and flipped one of my struts > so that the rod end is pointed down.
