Subject: | Re: Slick Mag 1100 hrs. |
Just a clarification: The SB shows a new cushion design and a new mag
drive as a matched set that prevents the cushions falling into the case
during installation. The issue of the cushions getting brittle,
breaking and falling into the case remains.

The drive pads were a different design with tabs that engaged slots in
the drive gears. It was pretty easy to feel the pads snap into place,
and once engaged they stayed in place really well.

to keep the pads in place while wresting the mags into the holes. The

I have installed A1A1F5O-100-287/600N 10017y1 struts after 4 years and a knot on
my head. I need to turn them around for the dampening. They were slightly shorter
than original struts from 2011 build. I did have to remove a washer or two
on each end as the fitting was thicker. I have noticed that the doors when
closed, but unlatched sit out farther and we must pull in to ensure the center
cam and pins engage properly. I have Sean's latch and painted door.

Subject: | Re: Heavy Duty Gas Struts |
I actually prefer to have my door operate this way. IE, stock, the door
will start to close on its own about 2 feet away from closing. With 2 ft
to go, it can still build up a good bit of momentum and slam the door
shut. Worse if someone actually slams it shut for you, then the door
will REALLY slam shut. Not good. :(
With the greater force, it will resist getting slammed shut. At least it
should. Latching will def be a bit harder as you say, though.

Aerosport Products would like to announce our new AEROVENTS.
These are precision machined from aluminum and anodized either
black or clear. The vents come with either the 2" scat tube nut or ring
nut.
They require a 2.125" hole and have a 1.20" outlet. These vents seal off
when closed to 99%.
These vents will retail for $115.00 plus shipping and are IN STOCK now
by phone
or on the web at the end of the week. Call us if you have any questions.
We will be offering an introductory special (ORDER 2 or MORE) for
$105.00 plus shipping the month of December 2015 Phone orders only.
