I was one of the first to use the Matco brakes on the 10. I documented the
install on VAF here:
http://www.vansairforce.com/community/showthread.php?t=100415
I have over 600 hours and very happy with the swap. After hitting a deer on
the runway I was extremely happy I had these brakes to slow as much as
possible. Also, if you had to abort a takeoff I know these won't fade out
as the original set would. The original brakes are undersize for the weight
of the RV10. If anything should be overbuilt I like it being the brakes.
It is very easy to control pressure with the new brakes too. More
confidence with stopping and more control equals :) .
