      Thanks for all the suggestions and stories, guys ...
      
      In the end, I went with 2 pairs of 1x2 about 2' long ... each pair 
      clamped about 2/3 the way out on the padded blade from the root. While 
      not quite a "piece of cake" to move, they did make it easier. It was 
      then just a matter of making little movements, followed by marking, and 
      little bits of trimming at a time. Lather, rinse, repeat. Overall no big 
      deal, I think the entire process was complete in less than an hr.
      
      Not sure if this was a "standard" prop or not ... but I did buy it from 
      Vans. I heard about templates being available, but hard to find on the 
      Hartzell site. In the end, it was quicker to "just do it" !

      RV10 N563EA made its first flight in Peoria, Illinois this morning.  Guys....and
      you know who you are...have helped me through my 3897 hour journey, starting
      in the fall of 2012....my sincere thanks and appreciation.
