Kelly, thanks for the recommendation. The photos
on that Amazon link looked good, so I ordered one.
It'll be a bit before I get a chance to use it. Too
many irons in the fire. But, it looks like it'll
be just fine.

I got the recommendation from a review Aviation Consumer did some months
ago. I figured the price wasn't that different from the fixed head
scopes Harbor Freight has, and I always worried about mirrors getting
dropped in a cylinder.
All scopes I have seen take some practice to figure what distance from
the object works best with the auto focus. Generally you do better if
you can get the head as far away as possible, e.g. piston at bottom of
stroke. But it does work reasonably up close, and I have been able to
examine at least part of valve seats and valve heads to look for any
problems.
It supposedly works with tablets, but I have heard issues with getting
enough power for the LEDs and cameras from such devices. I just use a
Toshiba laptop that was retired from front line use 6 months ago.
I downloaded the software rather than use the older version on the
supplied mini-CD.

I keep a spreadsheet of all device / cable pinouts. There's a note on ADS600-B
Pin 35 description / notes state "Transponder Suppression OUT (ARINC does this)".
For my setup, pin 35 is not connected and ARINC connection is active to G330. No
ghosting issues after latest FW v4 and hardware rework.
