That would assume #1 top plug is fired by the left mag. I would want to
verify that. I was hoping there might be a simpler test.

I was new to plug maintenance but went with the following. It has
worked well thru 700 hours. Applies to standard large electrode plugs
(not fine wire stuff):
Cleaner - compressed air powered:
Spark Plug Cleaner

Gapper and Gap Guage
Gapper <http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/topages/precisegap.php>
ATS Guage <http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/topages/ATSgap.php>
You definitely need a tray - I built my own. Build or buy a decent
one. Mark you rotation scheme on it. Holes drilled in wood will work
but not ideal for an important tool.
This kit has everything you need including the above stuff

Subject: | Insurance - higher liability limits |
I just got my quote for this year from Gallagher (nee NationAir). Not only is my
premium $200 lower than last year for the 'usual' coverage (Hull, plus $1 million
liability but limited to $100K per passenger); they are offering me $1 million
smooth (combined single limit - no $100K passenger sub-limit) for another
$418. I think it is great to finally see higher liability limits being offered
at reasonable prices to EAB owners.

My insurance is with them also, and premiums are nice each year now. I was impressed
at the quote for my RV14, being a new model. I found that they are more
than willing to take any questions and concerns to their underwriters if you
ask. For instance, my RV10 company didn't cover Cayman Islands as a standard item,
but she asked them if they would cover me for my trip this spring and they
did.
So if you are looking for RV insurance, they write many RV's and can help you navigate
the process.
