My Vans windscreen was Aug 2007. No issues with windows or cowl. I thought
the fit went smoothly except for the Weldon adhesive.

My windshield install back in '08 was a lot of work. As Tim noted, the right
side was not even close to fitting. It took a huge amount of fiberglass work
to get it faired in to make it look right. I replaced my landing light
lenses a year or two ago due to crazing and fogging. I installed the Cee
Bailey lenses and they were very close to a perfect fit. Took very little
work and they seem to be a more substantial material and they still look
like new. If I had to install another windshield, I would certainly look
very closely at Cee Bailey.

My observation has been that the Van's subcontractors of parts have variable quality
control. Some things are pretty good and others are just a big POS! My windows
and screen fit pretty well but my nose gear fell (broke) off the plane.
I bought after market fairings from the South Africans because the quality of the
kit parts from Vans was so bad. How much effort does it take to get it correct
the first time?!?!
The good part is that it has helped establish a good number of boutique parts suppliers.
Bad part is that it cost us more.

MT P-860-3 S/N 13G124G. 46.9 hours.
Sent to MT USA. S/N updated to 13G124H. Got back all safety wired up. Installed
and flew. Full throttle was 2700 dead on. All clocking was as I sent it.
Flew for an hour without issue.
They sent me my governor, new gasket and document for my log book.

Subject: | 6 Cylinder P Mag |
Has anyone received a P Mag yet? Really interested in hearing how they
work. The 4 Cylinder version seems to be fine.
