I too have been using the HF bead breaker (for small tires) thru several

Subject: | Firewall Blanket |
I am just resuming building after a little more than a two year hiatus.
There was some discussion in 2008 regarding firewall blankets. I was
wondering what current recommendations are? It would also be
interesting to know what the certified aircraft manufacturers are
installing.

David,
Pull up Dan Horton's testing on firewall material in Van's Air Force.net.
He did extensive testing with several different materials. You won't be
disappointed.
