Very windy arrival and departure. The FBO was asked and agreed to hangar the aircraft if a storm appear eminent. I even called on April 1 to repeat the request since the My Radar app showed a large area of precipitation (yellow/red). Apparently their internal lack of communication failed to get the aircraft inside and hail damage resulted. Because of the very inclement departure I did not notice the damage and it was not discovered until April 16. Primary damage is to top of control surfaces due to thinner metal. I plan to reskin them; other areas of thicker metal had minor paint marks; even the cowl top had small faint marks in the paint. The aircraft is insured and someone else will probably do the work.
