      I removed the Skytec PM which didnt have enough power to turn over my IO540 with
      high compression pistons. I replaced it with the BandC starter, which works
      fine. Im mainly posting because the link between the starter and Plane Power alternator
      did not fit the BandC. Neither did either of the links BandC provided.
      I was able to drill a new 5/16 hole in the old link after bending it slightly;
      worked fine. I had called Plane Power and they strongly advised against leaving
      the link off. I believe the P/N for the link is 1002.
