Guys Those of you who already finished building and/or are already flying your RV-10, would you please confirm that the tabs of the pitch (elevator) trim dont move completely coordinated, i.e, when you move the pitch trim along all the course, the right tab moves logically, all the way up and all the way down, but the left tab doesnt move all the way up, and along the course of the movement the left tab even moves temporarily in the opposite direction of the right tab. Is this the way it should work? Comments welcome Regards Carlos

They do not. Check out chapter 5 of the installation instructions. It gives you the angle for fill up and full down. Theyre not the same for both. > On Jan 22, 2020, at 8:31 AM, Carlos Trigo <trigo@mail.telepac.pt> wrote: > > > Guys > > Those of you who already finished building and/or are already flying your RV-10, would you please confirm that the tabs of the pitch (elevator) trim dont move completely coordinated, i.e, when you move the pitch trim along all the course, the right tab moves logically, all the way up and all the way down, but the left tab doesnt move all the way up, and along the course of the movement the left tab even moves temporarily in the opposite direction of the right tab. > > Is this the way it should work? > > Comments welcome > > Regards > Carlos > > > > > >

They most definitely do NOT move in the same manner. Read this-> https://www.myrv10.com/N104CD/maintenance/20080622/index.html and follow Tim's instructions. I did, and it all worked out ! --Ron On 1/22/20 7:23 AM, Carlos Trigo wrote: > > Guys > > Those of you who already finished building and/or are already flying your RV-10, would you please confirm that the tabs of the pitch (elevator) trim dont move completely coordinated, i.e, when you move the pitch trim along all the course, the right tab moves logically, all the way up and all the way down, but the left tab doesnt move all the way up, and along the course of the movement the left tab even moves temporarily in the opposite direction of the right tab. > > Is this the way it should work? > > Comments welcome > > Regards > Carlos > > >

Correct - that is how it works. You end up with a boatload more up trim than down (as it is needed with those big flaps).
