I received with my finish kit years ago a document on weight and balance
and one on flight testing. First is "W&B RV-10.doc" dated 2/4/05, and
the second is "Flight Test RV-10" dated 3/16/05.
I have never seen an electronic copy of these, nor any update. Just
wondering if they ever have been updated, and if anyone has an
electronic copy, as I just have the one paper copy that came with my
finish kit.

An electronic copy is on the Van's plan CD. The version that I have is dated
2014.

Attached is that flight testing document. I have that W&B one too, but
it's too big to post
to the list. I'll email it. It's a scan, so it's big compared to what
an original PDF would
be. Neither is any newer than what you have.

Thanks everyone. I did find the sources mentioned, and Tim is correct, all
electronic versions are still the same 2005 documents, without change.
I do have the Van's CD plans...same thing, just harder to find because the
plans are merged into one huge file.
I found particularly interesting the discussion in the flight test document
of Vne, never mentioning that the number is in true airspeed, not indicated
while most other speeds mentioned are indicated speeds. Just figured they
would have incorporated their own white paper on Vne with regard to higher
horsepower or turbocharging.
