Subject: | Re: Spark plugs and heat range |
Sorry to be too lazy to go pull the cowl to check, but does anyone know if
the same injector marking rules apply to the GAMI injectors? Have been
happily flying behind a set of them for more than a decade and never really
thought about clocking them during reinstall after cleaning (or remember
reading GAMI instructions that said to do that).
Thanks,

I don't know...However, since they are just injectors with the restrictor
more precisely drilled, I expect they would be the same.

the arrow doesn't have to point exactly down: anywhere within a 180 deg
of arc of "not up" will suffice to minimize fuel dripping out after
shutdown. If you're concerned with ram air hitting the opening, you
could point the arrow down and slightly forward.
