I also sent Matt an off-list thanks on this, as I really appreciate his
approach.
I myself went through the loss of a job this year, and am now back
on the upswing trying to make up for the lost summer, so it was
a gift to have one less place demanding more of my cash. That said,
I also owe a lot to Matt and the list, because without his list
I would have never met many of the people who are now dear to me.
I would still participate in contributions, if it were an option, but it
is very nice to see someone looking out for the collective community
at such times.
