Subject: | Re: Brakes have me stumped |
Myron,
Aircraft Spruce sells the Rapco version for reasonable price, pack of 4
pads and rivets needed. Rapco Brake Lining Kit 4 RA066-11200-4K
06-0174 $33.69
Imagine how many pads you would need if you came smoking into your
hangar like some SWA pilots race to the gate! 8>)
I use the Royco 782 brake fluid, Viton O-rings on the caliper pistons,
and change the pads anytime I don't like their looks or they are more
than 1/2 worn....since I want them top notch if I really need to stop
short of something.

prices.

prices through the roof. More than twice what they sell other pads for and
more than twice what the pads (rapco version) sell for from Spruce.
