Anyone have any experience with their reliability, MTBF, failure
indications? probability of failure and any relationship to current load?

I have about 8 of them. One of them suffered infant mortality at about 4 hours
since new. Mechanically failed, knocked a hole in the back of the plastic case,
when first turned on, I think. Others (plus replacement) are all still working
fine, ten years later.
