Here is a link to the Trutak display replacement: https://www.crystalfontz.com/c/graphic-lcds-&-oleds/resolution/122x32/186 There are different background colors to choose from. I haven't tried these, but I got this link from someone on Van's Airforce website that had used it. I kept the link because my display has lines missing and I plan to change it at some point. Is there an after market maker of improved speed wheel pants for the RV 10? It would seem to me that a less bulky wheel pant would offer less drag and the Vans kit wheel pants certainly don't have to be as wide as they are to clear the tires. Doc N123CV & N784DC

Ken Krueger sells carbon main gear pants for RV-8s with 6.00-6 wheels, which is the same wheel the -10 uses. I saw them at OSH, beautiful composite work. Smaller cross section than the Van=99s pants and better looking than the James ones. Less drag? Maybe... https://www.skydesigns.aero/products Lenny On Nov 21, 2022 at 4:00:42 PM, Kyle Boatright <kboatright1@comcast.net> wrote: > > Try jamesaircraft.com > > On Nov 21, 2022, at 2:20 PM, Doc <docclv@windstream.net> wrote: > > > > > Is there an after market maker of improved speed wheel pants for the RV > 10? The discs get very hot. The narrower you make the pants, the closer you have fiberglass/carbon next to the disk. /Martin > On Nov 21, 2022, at 2:07 PM, Lenny Iszak <lenard@rapiddecision.com> wrote: > > Ken Krueger sells carbon main gear pants for RV-8s with 6.00-6 wheels, which is the same wheel the -10 uses. The RV-10 uses pressure recovery wheel pants. Faster than smaller ones. (You can look it up on vansairforce.net) -Dan On Mon, Nov 21, 2022 at 4:32 PM Lew Gallagher <lewgall@charter.net> wrote: > *Lew Gallagher:* Hey Doc. Good suggestions here, take your pick.
