      Garmin download page does not show the version they say to down load in the
      instructions.  For G3X it says 12.40 or better but
      https://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=010-00G3X-00 only
      offers 12.30.. ugh

      Dang, I didn't need that one.  Garmin's experimental support team has been
      helpful in the past.
