Does anyone have the source of the latest and greatest door struts. A FBO
representative unsolicitedly finished off the right door strut. I had an
Odyssey 680 infant mortality problem and was trying to diagnose. Without
thinking the FBO rep held the door open with a Vise Grip tool while I had
told my brother in law that I was going to get a bungee cord. Needless to
say the Vise Grip scarred the strut shaft and created a significant leak
and collapsed the strut. I have the second generation of the strut
installed but it was beginning to wear over time. Anyone know what is being
used now.
The Odyssey 680 apparently has a bad batch being sold. When I mentioned my
problem a hangar mate said that he knew at least two others.

Subject: | unknow part need help |
Hi there,
I found this part and first thought it might be the F1011 bracket for
the cables, but meanwhile I doubt, the nomination would tell it is in
the fuselage kit included, but referenced it is only in the cabling
instructions.
appreciate your help!
Cheers Werner
