I looked up past emails from him. I got the same Christmas card. On the door, I agree. I regularly help people into RV-10s. My main instruction is, be anal about the doors. If you get complaciente about them, thats when you will have problems. I stress the 4-5 point pre-takeoff check. 1. Make sure the button is popped out. 2. Make sure the handle wont rotate 3. Push on the front to verify it is pinned. 4. Push on the back to verify it is pinned. 5. Verify strap is on handle, for those who have straps and/or verify the door latch LED is off. Its so sad to lose another RV-10er who was part of the early RV-10 journey with so many of us. Looked up past emails from Pascal, when he was flying from SoCal to Naples, Florida where we wintered. He was always very thankful for information on flying destinations. He planned to stay with us in KC but it was north of course. We hope the best for his family and friends. (Years ago, we had an rv door pop-- any incidence is a time to remember vigilance. Please take care RV community. We are a family. Does not diminish our heartfelt shock at this loss or empathy for the family. Peace in the sorrow. Hold those great memories of Pascal. ~ MariElle) Adrian M N719AM On Sun, Jan 5, 2025 at 2:35=AFAM RV10-List Digest Server < rv10-list@matronics.com> wrote: > * > > ======================== > Online Versions of Today's List Digest Archive > ======================== > > Today's complete RV10-List Digest can also be found in either of the > two Web Links listed below.
