Wing Kit Arrived
      
      My friend, Ren, and I picked up our RV-12 wing kits at the truck depot 
      Wednesday.  I am guessing that Van has shipped about 25 wing kits so 
      far.  We had our kits shipped together to save shipping costs.  Ren and 
      I were able to carry the 16' long wing-spar crate that weighs 130 
      pounds.  The 4x4x1 foot crate weighs 210 pounds.  I was able to slide 
      one side off from my trailer onto the floor, then pick the other side up 
      off from the trailer and stand the crate on edge.  Ren and I laid it 
      flat on the floor.  The crates were very well packed and no parts were 
      damaged during transit, even though Ren's wing-spar crate had a hi-low 
      fork hole in the end of it.
