It's a view from underneath at an obliqu e angle. I've had the same difficulty with some of the other drawings. It really plays tricks on your mind. Finished the VS this mo rning and got well under way on the rudder. There were a lot more 1/8" rive ts to squeeze on the rudder spar than I thought there would be so we borrow ed a friends air squeezer for tomorrow. =C2- Things have fit well togethe r and it seems pretty easy to assemble. Only strange thing I have so far fo und is the unusual picture on Page 06-05 of the orientation of VS-1208 (Low er Main Rib)in Fig. 2.
