Curious if anyone has experience with repair of crashed RV-12s.
Structural Repair references are what I am looking for as a comparison
to the removal and replacement with new parts process. My guess is this
one is the first or the list is silent.

John, Two crashes have been reported on VAF RV-12 Forum. One is back
flying, another is undergoing repairs, I believe. Try a search there.

The only one I found on the VAF was 331RV which was the result of a
canopy issue. I am involved in the repairs to that airframe. The
issues are of value to all RV-12 operators but will be up to the owners
as to whether they post publically. Thought I would check and see what
standard is being used in the "Return to Service" and "Safe for
Continued Flight". The build quality can vary substantially from one
RV-12 to another. The kit in its concept is quite remarkable. I was
lucky to be a mentor with the VANS Teen Flight RV-12 so I have somewhat
of a baseline. Might have to write a book on Structural Repairs to the
RV-12 before it is done.
