Thanks Bob,
I've recently bogged down in thoughts about changing some aspects
of the RV 3 after reading Kent Pasers book "Speed with Economy"
which was an eye opener, he attained 60 mph more and 50% reduction
in fuel on his Mustang II, as for the rudder pedals thats just a bye the bye
but important non the less.
I also notice the .050 4130 for the engine mount/ longeron brackets and
somewhere which I can't recall there was a change to .063 thou, are yours
the
.050??
Bruce

Please read the speed summary page of "Speed with Economy". The top
two-thirds of his list basically comes free with the RV. (Except for the
turtle deck.)
Most of the speed improvement is in the top two-thirds of the list. Van's
Aircraft did a good job to start with.
