Are the new ready-made ones .063 ? Paser did wonders with his M-II, but I think my -3 with an 0-320 and perhaps PR wheel pants will be 'adequate' esp. in UK, where the distances are short. Always happy to save fuel money though, so may put some effort into details to keep drag down. Thinking about a flat-wrap windscreen, mainly for aesthetics, but may also spread out and reduce any high-pressure area at the bottom centre of the standard bubble, at the cost of distortion in the landing flare. Doesn't obey the KISS principle though.
