Anyone had trouble with cracks after fixing the canopy with rivets as per
      the drawings?
I'm considering using screws like the later RVs, but presume the small RV3
canopy is less prone to differential expansion and cracks than the larger
      ones.
If you used screws, was tapping into the canopy tubes sufficient (perhaps
using Pro-seal as a threadlocker). I don't think the diameter of the tubes
(1/2 and 3/8 inch) allows Rivnuts.
The canopy and tubes are now drilled to 1/8 every 2 1/2 inches. (and no
      cracks yet . . . !)
      Thanks

Is the RV-4 cowl the same as the RV-3?
