I've got the 13" spinner from Van's with a Catto 3-bld pulling an O320E2D.
I'd love to consider an MT CS.

Hi All,
Is there a group of RV-3 owners/builders that are interested in an MT 2
blade electric CS propeller?
This would be a 70" dia propeller. Instead of Van's 72" dia. MT Propeller.
I'm not sure how practical group buy would be. The first RV-3 I've checked
has a 12" dia. spinner with a 3 7/8" distance from the front of the cowl
ring to the propeller hub mounting surface on the ring gear.
I don't believe the cowl installation was very consistent on the RV-3. I
remember there being 3 different styles of cowls, before they were
"standardized".
I talked to Van's about the RV-7 and RV-8 cowl installation (newer cowls),
and was told the cowl is mounted to the propeller spinner.
And the people on the list recommend that you don't use the propeller to
mount the cowl. Go figure.
I would appreciate knowing what some of your RV-3 spinner diameter and cowl
distances are, if you have the time to measure this.
(The older RV-3 had a 12" spinner, and I believe the new RV-3's have 13"
spinners.)

Sign me up for one of those props! I think a constant speed prop would make
the airplane even more incredible. Mine was finished in 1981 and has a 12
inch spinner, presently turning a 69 inch wood prop. It has an O-320 E2D
Lycoming. Don't have the spacer dimension but could get it if you get close
to ordering.
Why does the spinner need to come with the prop? Can't we just use a Vans
spinner assembly? Is there something different about how the MT prop mounts
to the crankshaft flange?
Are there any options as to the controller? Obviously it needs to be
electric since we have solid crankshafts, but is constant speed the only
choice? What about pilot adjustable, or two speed?
What do you think the cost will be?
