I'm pretty sure they are no longer available any other way unless you special ordered it from the mfr, which is possible. Prior to this there were 2 cowls sold, a 4" ext required for the FP cowl and none on the C/S cowl. Since 95, all of the cowls are C/S capable. Call Van's for more info.... > > Rob Ray > (old, long vinylester cowl, 150 HP fixed pitch) > > Rick Fogerson <rickf@cableone.net> wrote: > --> RV3-List message posted by: "Rick Fogerson" > > I'm building an RV3 with an 0320 and Airflow Performance Fuel Injection system. Can anyone tell me if the RV3 cowl comes with a scoop already built into the cowl or do you buy a scoop and install it yourself. If you do buy a separate scoop, which scoop and FAB would you order for an Airflow Performance Fuel Injection system mounted vertically like the carb. > Thanks, Rick Fogerson > > > --------------------------------- > >

Subject: MT Propeller offer for RV-3
--> RV3-List message posted by: LessDragProd@aol.com Hi Rob, I believe I have enough people interested in buying their MT Propeller. It looks like it's time to see how many people are really ready to buy now. I have you down as interested in the MTV-17-C/178-59 electric CS 2 blade propeller. Expected deliver to occur 18 weeks after receipt of order. Delivery direct to you, but method still to be determined. (I'm still working with MT on how to do this easily for the customer. Some spinner assembly may be required.) This uses a 12" diameter spinner. I have a 3 3/8" dimension from the front of your cowl to the propeller hub mounting surface on the ring gear. I am not asking for you to send any money at this time. I want to make certain I have enough people serious about ordering their propeller before I ask for payment. (MT Propeller requires full payment at the time of placing the order to get this price.) Are you willing, and able, to provide the $7,350 payment necessary to order your propeller at this time.
