    Subject: SkyTek light weight starter
--> RV4-List message posted by: "Van Artsdalen, Scott" <svanarts@unionsafe.com> Most of my friends are big guys in the 220lb range. With the harmonic dampener I can take them up for more than 20 min. Otherwise fuel burn causes the CG to move too far aft. It's just something I don't want to worry about. -- Scott VanArtsdalen Network Manager Union Safe Deposit Bank 209-946-5116 -----Original Message----- From: Steve Mullins [mailto:smullins@lib.drury.edu] Subject: Re: RV4-List: SkyTek light weight starter --> RV4-List message posted by: "Steve Mullins" <smullins@lib.drury.edu> I can't imagine this being an issue with the 150 hp engines unless you have VERY heavy passenger. I have the 0-290 in my RV-4 (125 hp) and since that engine is at least 20 lbs lighter than the 0-320, I do have to limit my passenger's weight to below 160 lbs. You can easily tell when you are getting close to the aft CG limit. Pitch control starts to get very sensitive. Having full fuel will help move the CG forward.
