Subject: RV4-List: Wing tip nav light extensions

I have Van's Nav Light Extensions to glass on my wing tips. Seems to me it 
would be easier to fair them in if I were to put them on the inside of the 
wing tips. Is there a specific dimension of where they should be mounted? I 
think I'll use nutplates to mount the tips should I need access for some 
reason.
