Subject: Cowl Inlet Duct
--> RV4-List message posted by: PGLong@aol.com
This concerns my older mid 80's cowling. I have already installed and bedded
into epoxy the front four inch long hinges that attach the top cowl to the
lower cowl. am just getting to the point where I need to install the
"Contoured Inlet Ducts" to the upper cowling. I cringed when I first saw them
because it appears that the sides of these pieces are meant to be sandwiched
between the cowl and the cowl hinge. (4" hinge) I hope I'm wrong as I hate to
rip the hinges off. Am I looking at this correctly?
