Its not why I installed the RV-8 tail however, The original tail the had been completed when I bought the kit had a serious curve in it when I originally mounted it to the fuse. I decided to buy the 8 kit from a local builder who never started it. I think it looks great with the larger tail and it is very stable. Ray N20RG -- 45 hours
