I would think they will be much easier to fit than the previous model. On another topic, what type of fitting did you all use to run the the main battery cable through the firewall to the starter ?; whereabouts on the firewall did you make the opening? I'm wondering if they are molded top and bottom and how they are attached to the leg and pants. I have the two piece wheel pants and aluminum "V" shaped piece that would take a lot of work to fit and fair. Has anyone used these on an RV4? Just about ready to tackle this job but if there is a better way, I'm all ears. Thanks for your help. It's located on the right top side of the "shelf/rudder pedal recess" underneath the cowling. I needed the weight up front with my lightweight composite prop and I made my battery "hole" in the cockpit into a storage compartment with a hinged door on top. If I did rout it through the firewall I would use the Cessna method with a fixed grommet around the hole and conduit around the wire. Good Luck...
