--> RV4-List message posted by: r miller <robertpmiller@comcast.net> I have an old tank style project (baffle flanges face forward are 5/8 and are pop riveted to skin) I don't think there is enough room to make the offset from the LE rib to behind the tank baffle. Does anyone remember what they did? Also is there a reason not to use ordinary hardware store poly tube flared to an AN fitting for the pitot line?

--> RV4-List message posted by: Oldsfolks@aol.com I routed my pitot line behind the tank and anchored it to the spar flange bolts with adel clamps. I have the old style tank also. I wouldn't want to put vinyl tubing in there, since if it develpoed a leak you would have to remove the tank to replace it. I wanted the permanent aluminum line in there. My opinion only.
