Larry Vetterman is an agent for the company which has done the research and
manufacture of the VG's he sells.
Their VG's are curved to fit the wing contour, are attached with two-part
cement and mine are painted to match the wing paint.
Their price is about half the price for certified aircraft,so I think
a"Bargain Basement price" would give you about what you pay for.
My opinion as a satisfied customer,

I can vouge for their performance on a Harmon Rocket I flew before and after. 10-12
Knots slower on final with no observable loss in cruise speed.

I have a set of Vetterman VG's for my RV-4 new in the Box that I decided
not to install. I have no input positive or negative but realized that
I just don't need them for the type of flying that I do. Someone make
me a respectable offer off this list and they might be on your doorstep
in a few days.

Not trying to knock Larry or the others with VG's out there... But they
charge a whole lot for what you get. I would encourage others to do
further research & development on VG's and present competition to help
drive down the prices.

Larry Vetterman has vortex generators available for the RV aircraft.
All the research has been done , and they work great.
I put them on my RV-4 for added low-end stability on approach to my
1100'
grass strip. I must fly between tall trees on short final and the extra
low-speed stability is nice. Stall is down 7-8 MPH also. I can see no
degradation of
top speed.
These VG's are aluminum alloy and come with two-part adhesive and
templates
for installation.
Why reinvent the wheel ???

One plug for Larry's product, they were developed by a Boeing engineer specifically
for the RV4 wing. They work, period. Airfoils are engineering, you can't
hunt and peck to develop something as critical as a VG in your garage and have
it work right, in my humble opinion. I would go with Larry's product, if you
call him dirrectly he will hook you up with a deal...

The VG's I mentioned for sale have now been spoken for and I have asked
the buyer to post results here after he flies them.
Now what else do I have for sale?

Rob,
It would be intersting just to see what diferance it makes, if its 2 mph, it
would be well worth it if it dosent efect the top end that much?
