Their VG's are curved to fit the wing contour,are attached with two-part cement and mine are painted to match the wing paint. Their price is about half the price for certified aircraft,so I think a"Bargain Basement price" would give you about what you pay for. All the research has been done , and they work great. I put them on my RV-4 for added low-end stability on approach to my 1100' grass strip. I must fly between tall trees on short final and the extra low-speed stability is nice. Stall is down 7-8 MPH also. I can see no degradation of top speed. They work, period. Airfoils are engineering, you can't hunt and peck to develop something as critical as a VG in your garage and have it work right, in my humble opinion. I would go with Larry's product, if you call him dirrectly he will hook you up with a deal...
