Garage sales are great for finding wheelchair O2 bottles and you can refill them
at the hospital, alot cheaper. Yeah, I know some of you naysayers will say that
Aviators breathing oxygen is all you should have. I hate to burst your bubble,
but an O2 distibutor told me he sells the same stuff to hospitals he sells
to airports, and welders, just different markings, same source. It's 1/5 the
cost. I made velcro straps and mounted mine sideways on the back of my seat against
the floorboard, forward of the rear stick. If you mountain fly alot, it
helps, especially above 12.5. Unfortunately, I loaned mine to an RV3 guy who
never gave it back....ha!

Watching the Oxygen thread in the RV-List made me wonder... How have people mounted
Oxygen in their RV-4s?
Mine is removable and only put in when I need it but I don't really like it where
it is. However, I can't find a better place for it. My RV-4 is open below the
instrument panel. I made stiffeners for my battery box and mounted my MH oxygen
bottle on top. I couldnt' find any other place that was easily reachable.
