Hi Scott,
I have my oil cooler there and will take some photos for you. However comma,
I didn't use AN fittings or lines, I used NAPA hydraulic line (6000 psi and 1/4
the cost) and std hydraulic fittings. I placed 90 degree bend exit fittings
on both oil cooler ports facing directly towards the engine at different angles
to avoid line interference where they overlap. I routed the lines alongside
the engine under the pushrod tubes wrapped in firesleeve, exactly like early pipers.
It works very well, lowering my oil temp 20 degrees at cruise to 195F year-round.
I will get the photos on line as soon as I can get home....see ya!

I'm having trouble finding the right fittings for my oil cooler. I'm
moving it up in front on the left side. The problem I'm running into is
that the AN-whatever 90 degree fittings I had on the oil cooler
interfere with the lower cowling. If anyone else has their cooler
mounted in this position especially if it's in an RV-4, if you've seen a
good installation, or even if you have opinion on it I'd appreciate
suggestions! Thanks.
