For all those who are misled into thinking the military always has the 'latest and greatest' (which RV enthusiasts certainly don't typify), I came from a squadron (@ Point Mugu) that had P-3's that were 41 years old, and the oldest C-130 in the military (flew in 56!!!) "...built things that go BOOM!" You wouldn't be a B-B Stacker? Didn't know you were Navy. Bob, I thank you DO have me beat. Staring at a perfectly good RV-4 and unable to fly would drive me nuts! Working on the D5 program was the next best thing to being in the Navy. The only difference was I didn't have to salute anyone. --- "Gould, Richard AE1 NAVTESTWINGPAC 561000E" wrote: > --> RV4-List message posted by: "Gould, Richard AE1 NAVTESTWINGPAC 561000E" > > > > From: Scott VanArtsdalen > > > > This ex-Lockheed Lunkhead would like to know: P-3 or C-130?
