Hi. Last week I ordered an RV4 kit from VANS so I guess that makes me about the
newest member of the group. I'm in the UK, have a Supercub and an RV-9A (which
is up for sale as of last week.).

You have had a few daft questions already. Apologies. There will be plenty more.

One issue which is bothering me (getting a little ahead of myself here) I borrowed
a set of plans but saw no mention about the proposed layout of the firewall.
Is it just that I missed this, or is this something VANS make no recommendation
over. Rather than redesign the wheel, if anyone can give me pointers as to
where to look for an intelligent layout, I would be very pleased.

      Many thanks, Steve.

If you don't have the book "21 (or so) Years of RVator", get one, it has
lots of ready & tested methods. As for the firewall "It's in there". Check &
record the plan sheet numbers & updated "dates", call/e-mail Van's and
verify #'s and dates. KABONG Apple Valley, HRII too. Do Not Archive
