I used tie-wraps and electrical tape for the first 10 years and recently replaced the lines. I attached them using aluminum tape at the top, middle and bottom. Put some MHWH tape between the line and the leg (prevents chafing) and tie-wrap them to hold while you wrap the aluminum tape. The key is to put the line down the leading edge of the leg. Now if you are installing wooden leg stiffeners (which I didn't like and removed) you can drill a hole through them and they will "hold the line" for you. Good Luck! Rob Ray Turrentine wrote: --> RV4-List message posted by: "Donna Turrentine" Hello Everyone: I was wondering how everyone attached their hydraulic lines to the gear legs. I bought the Teflon lines with stainless steel braid and tried to install them to the gear legs with two clamps "tied" together by a screw. I found the clamps interfered with my fiberglass leg fairings. Any ideas on how to attach this line close to the gear leg? Thanks, Donna Turrentine --------------------------------- ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 08:12:03 PM PST US From: Matt Dralle Subject: RV4-List: 2005 List of Contributors (Update)... --> RV4-List message posted by: Matt Dralle Dear Listers, There seemed to a number of members that were having a problem viewing the List of Contributors this year, particularly for those using some versions of Outlook and some web-based email clients.
